A lot of the 2020/21 Scottish football season has been drastically different to anything which preceded it: fans locked out of grounds, players abruptly dropping out due to Covid-19 outbreaks, games suspended for similar reasons, leagues suspended for months at a time, champions crowned after three games and the Scottish Government constantly wagging the finger in the SPFL’s direction for reasons that weren’t linked to disorder in the stands – for a change.
