Aussies Abroad: Socceroos kick off European Group Stages
There was a mixed bag of results for our Aussies Abroad who kicked off their Europa League group stage fixtures this morning. Tom Rogic, Awer Mabil, Milos Degenek, Ajdin Hrustic and Maty Ryan are our five Socceroos participating in the competition this season. Starting in Seville, Rogic played 90 minutes of Celtic's dramatic 4-3 defeat to Real Betis. Ange Postecoglou's men raced out to a two-goal lead, but were reeled back in by their Spanish opposition to see an entertaining match end in defeat.
